FreeWeight is built to keep your personal information on your device. We do not sell your data. The details below explain what we collect, why, and your choices.
Who we are
FreeWeight ("we," "us") provides the FreeWeight mobile app. Contact us at hello@freeweight.app.
What we collect
- Profile you enter: your name, age, height, weight, training goal, and equipment. This is stored on your device to build and personalize your plan.
- Workout activity: the sessions and sets you log, stored on your device to track progress.
- Camera images, only when you scan: when you point the camera at an item, a downscaled photo is sent to our scan service to identify the object and estimate its weight. It is processed to return a result and is not used to identify you.
- Basic app diagnostics: we may collect limited, non-identifying information to keep the app stable. [Confirm what your analytics or crash tools collect, or remove this line.]
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your health or body information for advertising.
How the scan works
Scan images are sent to our processing service to detect objects and estimate weight. The vision provider key is held only on our server and never shipped in the app. [Confirm your provider and retention period with counsel, and state it here.]
Your choices and rights
- Delete your data: the app includes "Delete my data and start over," which clears your information from the device.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data, and to opt out of certain processing. Contact us to exercise them.

FreeWeight is for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children.
